Futuristic Anime

This one is actually set in the future, this time. ;-) In this movie, a cyborg (Motoko Kusanagi) working for a secret government task force confronts a hacker that has been hacking peoples’ minds; the hacker turns out not to be human, but a form of supersoftware. Throughout the movie the questions of what it means to be human, what part consciousness plays in identity, and the dangers of future integrations and applications of technology (be they ethical, legal, or physical) into the human aspect are brought to bear. A great watch - both entertaining and food for some serious contemplation. Do you find this valuable?
